Day
01 PORTBLAIR
Arrive at Port Blair by air & transfer to Hotel. Afternoon proceed to Harbour
Cruise which will take us to Viper Island amongst other. The gallows atop a
hillock here is sight to watch.
Day 02 PORTBLAIR
Full day sightseeing tour of PortBlair. Visit: Cellular jail, Chatam Saw mill
(One of the oldest & largest in Asia), Forest Museum, Mini Zoo, Anthropological
Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum, Gandhi Park, Samudrika, Cottage Industry
Emporium and Andaman water sports complex (For water & adventure sports
like water skiing, speed boats, water scooters, Para sailing, wind-surfing etc.).
In the evening, attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail-
where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.
Day 03 PORTBLAIR -CHIRIYA TAPU
Start off for Mt. Harriet - 2nd highest peak (365 m) in the Andaman's. Afternoon
visit Chidiya Tapu - about 26 kms from Port Blair. It's generally known as bird
Island. Lush green mangroves and beautiful beach with breath-taking sunset,
creates a mesmerizing environment.
Day 04 PORTBLAIR - ROSS ISLAND
Morning visit Ross Island - from where the Britishers governed this entire A&N
Islands, prior to India's Independence. We shall see Japanese bunkers and then
Hamfreygunj memorial, which stands, as a mute testimony to killing of islanders
by the Japanese occupation forces during World War -II. Afternoon visit: Corbyn's
Cove Beach - 7 kms from Port Blair a coconut palm fringed beach, ideal for swimming,
sun-basking, bathing, snorkeling scuba diving, etc.
Day 05 PORTBLAIR
Transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
